CET and ThinkTV Have Royal Wedding Fever

Public Media Connect is excited to announce the premiere of The Royal Wedding Watch, a five-part nightly series of special programming leading up to the live broadcast of the royal wedding on Saturday, May 19, on CET and ThinkTV16. Royal Wedding Watch will be hosted by American news anchor Meredith Vieira and British television presenter Matt Maker, who will update viewers on the preparations for the wedding of Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle. The special will also feature in studio interviews with experts, commentators and special guests.
Royal Wedding Watch will feature a nightly update from Anita Rani, BBC presenter and host, from St. George’s Chapel at Windsor, where the royal wedding will take place. English historian Lucy Worsley will delve into the pageantry, pomp and protocol surrounding Harry and Meghan’s nuptials.

Monday, May 14, through Thursday, May 17, from 10pm to 11pm and Friday, May 18, from 10:30pm to 11:30pm on ThinkTV16 and CET.
Live coverage of the Royal Wedding starts at 4:00am on Saturday, May 19, on ThinkTV16 and CET. We’ll encore coverage at 9am that day on ThinkTV14.

PBS’s Senior Director of Programming Shawn Halford said Royal Wedding Watch will give viewers “an unprecedented look into the elaborate planning, secrecy, and care that goes into this royal wedding that has captured the imagination of people around the world.”
