Gloria Skurski, CET and ThinkTV Chief Content Officer, Appointed to the PBS Children’s Media & Educational Leadership Committee
Gloria Skurski, CET and ThinkTV Chief Content Officer, has been asked to serve on the PBS Children’s Media & Educational Station Leadership Committee, a multi-disciplinary group of leaders within the public television system who work together with PBS to develop children’s media and educational resources.
“This is a great opportunity for CET and ThinkTV to be more connected with PBS and other public media stations across the country, and to continue to grow our educational and community outreach efforts,” Skurski said.
In her role as Chief Content Officer, Skurski directs CET and ThinkTV educational services and community engagement projects throughout Southwest Ohio. Projects include initiatives to prepare early learners for success in school, engage parents as at-home learning partners, encourage students to consider a future in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) as well as workshops, resources and tools that focus on health, careers and much more.

Gloria has more than 30 years of experience in broadcasting and non-profit management and has been with Public Media Connect for more than 20 years. Prior to working at CET and ThinkTV she worked at CBS News in New York. Gloria holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago and an M.A. from the University of California at Berkley.
All members of the PBS Children’s Media & Educational Station Leadership Committee must be employed by a public television station, have experience in public media, have demonstrated leadership and success in their field of expertise, and have a passion for strengthening public television and PBS’ educational impact on children, families and communities across the country.
