PBS recently announced the Fall 2018 schedule line up and we have the highlights! It’s going to be a great season. Here’s what we are looking forward to the most:


The Great American Read

Tuesdays, September 11 through October 23, at 8pm

Tuesdays this fall will feature The Great American Read, hosted by Meredith Vieira with featured reflections from every day Americans as well as other celebrities such as Margaret Atwood, Lauren Graham, John Irving, Bill T. Jones, Devon Kennard and many others! The Great American Read will explore the power, passion and joy of reading by looking back at the best novels in American history and by counting down to America’s best-loved novel, as voted on by you.


The Miniaturist

Sundays, September 9 through September 23, at 9pm

This series is adapted from Jessie Burton’s internationally best-selling novel of the same name. In 1686, young Nella Oortman arrives in Amsterdam to meet her wealthy merchant husband Johannes Brandt. He presents her with a wedding gift – a cabinet that is a miniature replica of their house with figures that seem to mirror what is happening within the house. It also seems to predict what’s coming next…


The Mayo Clinic: Faith – Hope – Science

Tuesday, September 25, at

September 9 through September 23 at 9pm

This documentary profiles how one institution has met the changing demands of healthcare for 150 years and explores the modern challenges in patient care.


The Woman in White

Sundays, October 21 through November 18, at 10pm

This series focuses on a young man who offers a ghostly woman all dressed in white assistance only to find that she had just recently escaped from an insane asylum. His life is turned upside down and he is drawn into a web of intrigue he is not able to escape.


We’ll Meet Again – Season 2

Tuesday, October 30 through December 25, at 10pm

Join Ann Curry for another season of dramatic reunions of people whose lives crossed at pivotal moments. Look back in history and hear their stories of heroism, hope, and unforgettable bonds through this meaningful series.



FRONTLINE is working on a new documentary that delves into the controversy behind Facebook’s privacy issues and resulting legal challenges. Facebook promised to unite the world, but is Facebook becoming more harmful then helpful? This year-long documentary investigates the consequences of Facebook’s rise as a global power.
