You've witness majestic whales with Big Blue Live. You've explored the wild animals of Alaska with Wild Alaska Live. Now come with us as we travel through New England in an exciting new three-part live event, AutumnWatch – New England.

Explore what makes the New England region of the United States truly special, through this exciting live event. Experience the cultural traditions and awe-inspiring gold and red landscapes. Be guided by our three hosts – travel journalist Samantha Brown, BBC presenter Chris Packham and wildlife cinematographer Bob Poole – who will be joined by experts in food, wildlife, music, literature and history each night to showcase characteristics special to New England.

On the journey, delve into the culture and history of Native Americans and see how their traditions have still affected our way of life to this very day. You can also expect to find out the spooky history of Halloween and just how different it was back then compared to present day! Our hosts will even learn about the variety of apples and pumpkins that grow in the region.

One of the most essential aspects of the New England region is its wildlife. Watch as our trio of hosts track down majestic moose in the plains of Maine and check out time-lapse photos of little backyard invaders as they prepare for the harsh winter during the day as well as those critters who are more comfortable being under the moonlight.

Here’s when AutumWatch – New England airs. Whether you’re watching live on broadcast, streaming or setting a DVR, be sure to watch that broadcast time on Friday night!
