American Red Cross-Dayton Area Chapter

This course will help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac and breathing emergencies. The course teaches skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Students who successfully complete this course will receive certificates for Standard First Aid with CPR/AED - Adult which are valid for 2 years.

Learn your vascular age and stroke risk. Your arteries can show your risk. Non-invasive ultrasound screening shows early artery thickening, plaque and abnormal blood flow in arteries prone to plaque. This screening is for anyone age 40 or over, younger if you have a family history of heart disease, have abnormal cholesterol, or diabetes.
