Stroke kills twice as many women as breast cancer every year. Women are more likely to suffer a stroke than men. Many women report unique stroke symptoms that men do not. One in three adults age 65 and older falls each year, but an injury-producing fall can happen at any age. Falls are the leading cause of non-fatal injuries in people ages 25 to 54.
