“A New Beginning” is the theme for the 2009 Speaking of Women’s Health® Conference. For you as an attendee, it’s a new beginning to a healthier, more informed you; not only for yourself, but for your family and friends. This year’s theme, also encapsulates the changes, possibilities and opportunities for all of us who have been honored to be a part of this National program for the last eight years. We have a brand new foundation, The Cleveland Clinic who is seeking new National sponsors. As your host, we embrace the opportunity to present a Conference that will be distinctly different than what you have attended in the past. The slower economy has allowed us the benefit of returning to the grass roots of Speaking of Women’s Health and its’ mission…”A New Beginning”…for all.
This year’s Conference will be held at the Dayton Convention Center on November 7, 2009, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, with registration and an expanded continental breakfast beginning at 7:30 a.m. For 2009, we will be hosting a half day conference beginning with a morning keynote entitled “Laughing Your Way to a New Beginning” presented by Leigh Anne Jasheway-Bryant, M.P.H. As an attendee, you will have the opportunity to pre-register for and attend two breakout sessions presented by local healthcare professionals; participate in health screenings provided by Premier Community Health and talk with representatives from local and national sponsors.

Brochures containing a registration form for tickets and breakout session preferences will be mailed mid-August. To be added to our brochure mailing list, please contact Emily Milkis at emilkis@thinktv.org or 937-220-1701. Registration for tickets will be accepted by mail only; on a first come, first served basis. Tickets to the 2009 Speaking of Women’s Health Conference will be $25 each.
Sponsorships for the 2009 Conference are available. If the focus of your organization is the education of women in the areas of health, well-being or personal safety, we encourage you to visit our Sponsorship page for all the benefits or to contact Kay High at khigh@thinktv.org or 937-220-1647.

During the conference we ask that you either turn-off or place cell phones or pagers in a silent/vibrate mode to be considerate of all attendees.
