This workshop introduces you to Workplace Essential Skills, a complete program offering video, print and web support that reaches intermediate-level learners who need to improve their opportunities in the workplace.
Workforce development professionals can connect adults whose goal is to get into the workplace or get ahead at work using these materials.
You will receive a set of free workbooks, be introduced to the materials, and receive hands-on training how to best use the materials in a classroom setting, in one-on-one instruction, and in independent study.
FREE materials provided: Attendees will receive a FREE 4-volume set of Workplace Essential Skills workbooks. Also, you will be given directions to several FREE web resources for teachers and students, including online streaming videos that accompany each of the 25 lessons.

GED Connection programs focus on the core content addressed on the GED test. Part of the LiteracyLink program created by PBS, Kentucky Educational Television, and the National Center on Adult Literacy, GED Connection also includes workbooks, and practice tests to help prepare for test taking.

The Ohio Channel is a service of Ohio's public broadcasting stations. A new concept in public affairs programming, the Ohio Channel combines Statehouse coverage with locally produced PBS programs to give a statewide perspective on issues that affect the lives of all Ohioans.
Just for Parents features selected shows that demonstrate parenting and child-care skills on a variety of topics: child development, discipline, communication, special needs, literacy, infant care, and school issues. Programs are broadcast from 9:00-9:30 am Monday through Friday on ThinkTV channel 14.
