This conference provides area seniors, caregivers and community members the opportunity to come together in a comfortable and energizing environment to learn about and discuss a variety of timely “senior-related” topics.  Dr. Larry Lawhorne is morning keynote speaker, followed by three blocks of breakout sessions with nine presentations from which to choose.  Box lunch will be provided and information and materials will be on display related to the presentation topics.

*Space is limited, registration is required, and walk-in registrations will not be accepted at the Conference.

*Registration fee is $15, which includes a box lunch, must be sent or dropped off by September 15th to Yellow Springs Senior Center, 227 Xenia Avenue, Yellow Springs, OH 45387

It’s My Money, My Stuff and My Life!

Planning for our future is more complicated than ever.  This five-week course provides an opportunity to start or continue your planning.  We cannot plan for every “what if” but we can educate ourselves and make important decisions that will give us some peace of mind and answer nagging questions.

Topics covered:  Taking the First Step, Pitfalls in Planning, Titling of Assets, Wills & Advanced Directives, Insurance, Property and the Recorder’s Office, Trusts, Probate and Taxes, Medicare/Medicaid and Other Retirement Health Insurance and Services/Support for Seniors and Caregivers

*Cost is $40 per household, includes binder and all program materials.  Refreshments will be provided.
