Colorectal. It is a Beatable, Treatable Cancer Lunch-N-Learn

Tuesday, March 5, 2013

11:30am – 1pm
Earl Heck Community Center
201 North Main Street, Englewood
Colorectal is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in Montgomery County for men and women. Unfortunately, polyps and colorectal cancer don’t always cause symptoms, especially at first. If every adult 50 years or older had recommended testing, 6 out of every 10 deaths could be prevented. Screenings save lives. Guest speaker Dr. Michelle DeGroat is a board certified surgeon specializing in colonoscopies and hernia procedures and will present this free Lunch-N-Learn wellness program co-hosted by Good Samaritan Hospital and Brookhaven Retirement Community. A complimentary lunch will be served.
