This course will help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac and breathing emergencies. The course teaches skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Students who successfully complete this course will receive certificates for Standard First Aid with CPR/AED - Adult which are valid for 2 years.
This is part 2 of a 2 part series and will include: the three steps of eating well, choosing foods & reading labels, extras such as sugar substitutes and alcohol, exercise and making changes and preventing health complications.
